Our 2019 Challenge

Children attending farm programs are affected in many ways. They learn about farming, but they also learn about themselves. Working the garden, caring for animals or driving a big 1-ton ox - these students of ours become kinder, stronger, more confident members of our community.

We have a firm belief that all youngsters should benefit from our programs, and to that end, this year we have provided $80,000 in financial aid to families and students who want to attend our programs. This means hundreds of children who would not otherwise be able to afford to come to the farm are getting the experience of a lifetime.

The farm is able to do this because of you. Your generosity and financial support gets kids on the farm. It is as direct and simple as that.

We have already raised $30,000 from generous supporters, but need an additional $50,000 to support all our students and families next year. Friends of the farm have pledged $25,000 to match any and all donations that are made before December 31st of this year. Every dollar you donate will go to support youngsters coming to the farm next year, and now you have a chance to make your gift count twice as much.

If you donate $250, it becomes $500 for farm scholarships. $10 becomes $20 and no gift is too small. Please help us meet this challenge so that children and schools can continue to visit and experience the farm.
