Red Gate Farm is located off Route 112 in Buckland. Route 112 runs north/south between Rt. 2 and Rt. 9. First time visitors are recommended to take the Hawley Road Directions as they are more straightforward. Those who are familiar with the area and coming from the North may use the Bus Directions.

Hawley Road Directions

From the North (Route 2/Greenfield/Charlemont): Take Route 112 SOUTH From Route 2. Turn RIGHT at blinking light onto HAWLEY ROAD and follow directions From Hawley Road.

From the East (Conway/Deerfield): Take Route 116 WEST through Ashfield center to the blinking yellow light (junction 112/116). Go STRAIGHT at blinking light onto HAWLEY ROAD and follow directions From Hawley Road.

From the South (Route 9/Northampton): Take Route 112 NORTH. Turn LEFT at blinking light onto HAWLEY ROAD and follow directions From Hawley Road.

From the South (I-91/Springfield): Take the 2nd Northampton exit (#19) and go STRAIGHT at the lights at the bottom of the ramp. Go STRAIGHT at the next two sets of lights and continue to the end of BRIDGE STREET. At the end, turn RIGHT onto Route 9 WEST. Tturn RIGHT onto Route 112 NORTH. Follow directions From the South (Route 9).

From Hawley Road (blinking light): Bear RIGHT at the fork. Take the SECOND RIGHT onto APPLE VALLEY ROAD. Take the FIRST LEFT onto CEMETERY ROAD. Turn RIGHT into the FIRST driveway.

Bus Directions

From the South: Follow directions to the blinking yellow light and go STRAIGHT through the light (continuing on Route 112 NORTH). At the bottom of the mountain (~2 miles), turn RIGHT into the small rest area/turnaround to make a U-TURN and head back the way you came on Route 112 SOUTH. Take your first RIGHT (almost a fork) onto APPLE VALLEY ROAD. Follow directions From Apple Valley Road Entrance.

From the North: Take Route 112 SOUTH From Route 2. Cross the Ashfield Town line and Turn RIGHT (almost a fork) onto APPLE VALLEY ROAD. Follow directions From Apple Valley Road Entrance.

From Apple Valley Road Entrance: Stay on the paved road and bear right around the first corner. Follow the road before bearing right again to cross over a narrow bridge and past the Clark Orchard?s big red storage barn. After the narrow bridge is the town line marker (on your right). Take your first RIGHT (almost a fork) onto CEMETERY ROAD. Follow the steep hill up and BACK INTO the top of the SECOND DRIVEWAY on your RIGHT (above the big red barn).
