    Space is limited in most programs, and you are urged to be sure to contact the Farm Office as soon as possible to reserve your place.  Discounts apply to Farm Members, and membership is open to everyone.

    New classes are added frequently, and there are often opportunities for visitors to the farm to pursue individual interests. If you'd like to be added to our email list to be alerted when new classes are scheduled, or have a particular interest that you'd like to learn more about at the farm, email us at mail@redgatefarm.org.

    Please remember:
    Unless otherwise noted, most programs will run in moderate weather. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately.

    Friends of Red Gate Farm Dinner
    Saturday, September 11, 4:30pm - 8pm
    The Directors of Red Gate Farm invite you to be our guests at the 7th annual Friends of Red Gate Farm Dinner. Enjoy refreshments on the lawn while visiting with Farm Directors and Staff. We will then dine in the big barn on wholesome grilled fare, vegetarian dishes, and delightful desserts. The evening will be finished with coffee and tea and a short visual presentation of the year in review.
    Ages 15 - adult.
    Space is limited. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
    You may purchase tickets online here or by visiting the Farm Office.
    $25 per person.



    Seedlings
    Friday, September 17, 9:00am - 11:30am
    A new morning drop-off program for four and five year olds. Once a month, this age group is invited to join us for a few hours on the farm. We will learn together as we explore the farm. Our daily routine will include taking care of the animals, unstructured play, snacktime, learning centered around a daily theme. Healthy Snack is provided.
    Ages 4 & 5
    Please call the Farm Office to register.
    $15 for members / $20 for non-members



    Family Farm Day
    Saturday, October 9, 9:30am - 11:30am
    Join us one Saturday of every month for a fun filled morning exploring the farm. We will focus on a different theme every month.
    Ages 2 - 8, with accompanying adult. Backpack babies and older children welcome.
    Space is limited, Please call the Farm Office to register.
    $5 for member families / $10 for non-member families



    Seedlings
    Friday, October 15, 9:00am - 11:30am
    A new morning drop-off program for four and five year olds. Once a month, this age group is invited to join us for a few hours on the farm. We will learn together as we explore the farm.     Women on the Farm
    Saturday & Sunday, October 16 & 17
    Join us and other women as we experience a weekend at Red Gate Farm in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshires. You can learn to work with oxen, drive a tractor, harvest and cook a fresh, healthy meal, and even learn to give yourself a fresh herbal and honey facial (fresh from our farm). Take a break from your busy life and be a farm girl for a weekend! *limited lodging available

    $200 per person* *includes 5 fresh and healthy meals and all needed materials and supplies.



    Haunted Farm
    Saturday, October 23, 6:30pm - 8:00pm
    A festive Halloween Celebration complete with a “not-so-scary” haunted barn*, games, food, treats, and a haunted hay ride! Put on your costume and come on over! *the only scary part is how much our farm animals are looking forward to Halloween!
    Ages 3 - 12.
    No registration necessary. Please call the Farm Office for more information.

    GPS Basics
    Sunday, November 7, 1:00 - 4:00pm
    This workshop will teach basic skills using a GPS unit, and demonstrate how land owners, hikers and travelers can make use of this technology. We will be outside and solving practical problems together. Bring your own unit, or use one of the farm's.
    Ages 12 - Adult

    You Can't Mark Everything On Your Calendar!
